Dear ,
To snack... or not to snack... that is the question.
There's a common dietary misconception that's led many people astray. I'm talking about the idea that it is best to "graze" on food all day long.
Many so-called experts suggest that the best way to eat for weight loss and blood sugar balance is to consume four to six smaller meals throughout the day... with snacks in between. They claim this will help "fire up" your metabolism.
But will all that "nibbling" really make you thinner?
As you can probably guess, the answer for most people is no.
There is considerable published research on "meal frequency." And it clearly shows that there are no weight-loss or blood sugar benefits from eating more frequently.
On the contrary, it usually leads to overeating and higher sustained blood sugar levels.
But of course, sometimes you just need a snack! Or you have growing kids that are constantly hungry and it's just not practical to expect them to eat two or three times a day.
Unfortunately, most commercial, processed "snack foods" are made with high-glycemic grains, sugar, seed oils and other ingredients that will leave you feeling bloated, sluggish, and tired... not to mention rob you of your health.
That's why we wholeheartedly recommend the snacks and recipes found in the Keto Snacks Cookbook. These quick and healthy recipes satisfy cravings and keep your body and mind energized.
